CEO: Russian Railways can buy stakes in different transport sectors

SOCHI, Jun 2 (PRIME) -- Russian Railways is ready to become a shareholder in companies in different sectors of the transport industry, CEO Oleg Belozyorov said at a plenary session of a business forum on Thursday.

“We are potentially ready to participate in capitals of companies which handle other areas, in ports and other kinds of transport in order to complement and create conditions,” he said.

But he said that Russian Railways does not aim to reduce competition.
